Heading up the business, Calvin’s main areas of responsibility are for Business Systems/Operations, Financial activities and Business development opportunities.

Calvin’s a Chartered Accountant and earlier in his career was the Financial Director / Assistant Director for a global metallic pigments and inks company.

Calvin has a keen interest in the creative arts, reading and music and was the bass guitarist in a band in his 20’s.


Tracy Humphreys

Supply Chain Director

Tracy is responsible for the company’s Supply Chain, she heads up the Purchasing, Planning and Production teams.

Tracy’s previous role was Finance Manager for a large manufacturing company having started out there 20 years ago on a trainee scheme.

Most of Tracy’s spare time is spent transporting her 3 children to their various activities but still manages to play netball and rounders, she is a huge cricket fan and is learning to play the piano.

Sales and Marketing Director

Lara is responsible for all commercial aspects of the business and heads up our Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Teams.

Lara has been with the company for over 18 years and has extensive product knowledge and a wealth of experience in Account Management.

In her spare time, Lara enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.

Robert Neville

National Account Manager

Robert is responsible for sales across the Brian Clegg business, managing accounts in our Education, Retail and Industrial sectors.

Robert has been involved in the Art and Craft industry for over 30 years. He has worked in most disciplines within the industry during his career, he started as a chemist in the industry then moved into production management before moving into more commercial roles.

Robert likes to follow sport, was a very keen footballer and gets involved in a lot of community based activities. He has a more quirky side in that he very keen on Wildlife gardening and butterfly watching.


Suzanne Wilcox

Customer Services

Suzanne is responsible for Brian Clegg Customer Services (Accounts starting A-M). She has gained a huge amount of experience in Customer Services having spent her working life learning the Customer is always right!

Suzanne's children are both grown up and independent, so she is now enjoying her free time and loves walking, she has recently joined the National Trust enjoying days out exploring.

Being a real foodie, one of Suzanne's favourite things in life is cooking! She says she isn’t very good at it but does love trying out new things! (her homemade humus is pretty mean)!! Recently Suzanne has attended evening classes, learning mediterranean cooking and healthy eating.

Customer Services

Melanie is responsible for Brian Clegg Customer Services (Accounts starting N - Z and our Export orders). She has a wealth of knowledge in Customer Services as well as Exporting goods internationally.

In between working and being a mum to a fairly independent teenager, Melanie is a Cub Leader and spends her time camping, playing games and going on mini adventures!

She enjoys getting out and about whether it's a night out with friends, a long walk in the country or just coffee and cake with friends and family! She loves reading, not so much of a gym fanatic but she does enjoy the odd classes and watching films.


Emily Griffiths

Marketing Executive

Emily is responsible for planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns and strategies for both Brian Clegg and Little Brian. She also looks after our branding, developing the website and manages our social media accounts for both companies.

Emily is a Marketing and Advertising graduate from Leeds Beckett. In her spare time, she loves socialising with her friends and family and keeping fit.

Technical Manager

Julie is responsible for Technical Support for Continuous Improvement within Production, maintaining Quality Standards and New Product Development.

Educated to Degree Level in Chemistry, Julie has over 20 years’ experience in Colour Chemistry and New Product Development.

Julie loves going to the gym, dining out and watching a good film at the Cinema.

She enjoys cooking, fashion, interior styling, shopping and entertaining! Hayley enjoys spending her spare time with her Husband, her 2 gorgeous girls and her friends.

Responsible for procurement, delivering cost savings and supplier development, Laura has worked in purchasing for ten years and joined us from a manufacturing organisation where she was responsible for the procurement also.

She enjoys cooking, relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

Assistant Accountant

Joanne is our Assistant Accountant. She is responsible for various areas including Purchase Ledger, Month End, EU Reporting and Vat. Joanne joined us from Wolstenholme International where she was part of the accounts team.

In Joanne’s spare time she is a season ticket holder at Blackburn Rovers where she also owns some shares in the club! Joanne also enjoys reading, circle dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Harvey is our Accounts Assistant. He is responsible for our the day to day accounts on the Purchase and Sales ledgers, he also assists with month end.

Harvey has recently graduated university of Sheffield where he studied Business Management. In his spare time he enjoys following Manchester City, reading eating and sleeping.

Michelle heads up the Planning Team and is responsible for delivering our Production Plan, Michelle joined from Advantage Int’l where she was responsible for purchasing, good’s in/out and managing the warehouse staff.

In Michelle’s spare time she enjoys watching films and generally chilling out with friends and family.

Warehouse Manager

Chris is responsible for Managing our warehousing and distribution facility.

Chris has experience in warehouse management and earlier in his career used to manage a warehouse / distribution hub for an air freight company.

Chris is team sport crazy, he has represented England at indoor cricket and currently plays cricket for the local Norden CC.


Stuart Chamberlain

Health and Safety Officer

Stuart is responsible for the day to day running of our production department, recently being promoted from looking after our glue area.

With well over 14 years’ service at Brian Clegg, Stuart has spent time in most production departments.

Stuart is golf crazy and spends any spare time he can get on the course. Stuarts only flaw is he’s is a very keen Manchester United support, but then again somebody has to.
